the apartment was clean comfortable and in a good location for travellers without a car most things were within walking distance
as two older people the stairs proved a bit of a challenge and we could lift our suitcases upstairs to the bedroom
The studios are very new and comfortable and you are close to the Grassmarcet and Princess Street. We booked two studios, one for our sons and one for ourselves and this was a perfect place for us to explore Edinburgh!
It was a bit difficult to find. The exact addresswould help, I think.
We loved the amazing king size bed - the most comfortable I've ever slept in! The apartment was extremely well located - only 5 minutes walk to city centre and attractions. We liked the decor of the apartment - it's small but perfectly formed and very tastefully done, especially the bedroom and bathroom. Excellent value for money - this was the cheapest accommodation we found and we were very pleased with the apartment.
We asked the apartment agency staff to provide a travel cot for our one year old baby, which they did, however the bedroom in the apartment is so small (with all space taken up by the kingside bed) that there was no space to actually put the cot up. The apartment is split level and we didn't want to put the cot up downstairs so the baby slept in the bed with us. As mentioned earlier, the bed is so big that there was more than enough space for us all! Also, the apartment is up a flight of stairs from the main entrance once you enter from the street, so those with large prams may find it difficult to carry it up (not a problem if like us you have a small lightweight pram). Note that the apartment is very small, so suited to short stays for couples or a couple with a baby (but not for those with a toddler or more than one child as the space is very limited and the stairs would be a hazard for a toddler, as no stair gate). These aspects wouldn't deter us from staying there again.
Good place to stay when you have a short trip, nice upper stears, not long away frome the places we had to visit. Would like to come back neck year.
Some of the things in the bathroom vere brocken, the things you chance the water frome cold to hot and the ect. The knives in the kitchen could be better, to poor standard, could´t hardly do the bread. A few more towels would be nice.
Good location and large comfortable beds
Although this is a self catering apartment I was disappointed to have no tea or coffee provision as this would normally be expected. there was milk however so it seemed odd that there was nothing else. no tea towel or kitchen towels were provided either, which i would expect as a basic. there was no apartment information, so finding out the WI FI password meant calling the office, however if I had checked in out of hours I would have been unable to get this. Overall a decent apartment apart from the these small issues.
Staff offered to take suitcases to the apartment for us whilst we went off shopping very helpful. Carole
We stayed in a 2.5 room two storey apartment, costed on par with a simle hotel room. Apartment was indeed very nice and despite we stayed only two people, 6 adults could have stayed without much problem. Location is fantastic, very close to princes street. Appliances were far more than enough and all were good quality.
Heating the first floor was problematic. Cleaning was not included in the pricing and you have to ask for cleaning manually. Key delivery is not streamlined, please ask for directions to ket your keys by email.
Warm welcome, upgraded to 2 bedrooms, apartment very clean, underfloor heating was great, beds comfortable, good location.
A cafetiere would be good! Small detail but the top ot the taps were loose in the bathroom.
Excellent location close to Edinburgh castle and the Royal Mile. The apartment was well presented and very well equipped. The bathrooms were very good with excellent showers.
The apartment is amazing, all of my families love it. My son call it home.
The location is very good.
The bathroom door was broken - so it did not close and was very hard to move. This could not be fixed whilst we were there. Both televisions did not work either. Someone came and fixed them, but as one of the controllers did not work it couldn't be used anyway.
The representative Johnny was very professional and courteous. The apartment had great amenities.
Really comfortable living room to hang on with friends and family in relax. Comfortable bed in the big room.
No double gaze windows so really noisy in the night because of the drunk people in the street. Not so nice view.
Excellent kitchen with dishwasher and bathroom with wet room shower. Was good having lots of space with a lounge and a kitchen for cooking rather than being restricted to a hotel room.
The only problem was when a loose cover over one of the down lights in the shower fell off in the middle of the night. Luckily no one was taking a shower at the time as it could have hit them on the head. I left the cover off afterwards to prevent this happening to the next guests but this should be fixed (was in 18/2 Canning Street).
cleanliness, comfortable, and location convenient for city sight seeing.
bathroom lights did not work and proprietors did not leave the key in time for our arrival
